Time for Action has come. Wake up and do your bit today for a better tomorrow. Don't be lazy and think that someone else will solve your problems. All you have to do is simply post a Post Card to the Hon'ble Prime Minister and Union Health Minister separately every Monday from 31 August 2009 thanking them for their active interest in revamping the Medical Education by contemplating National Council for Human Resources in Health (NCHRH), an overarching Body to supercede corrupt MCI, DCI, NBE and OTHER councils. By this campaign we would like to pressurize the PM and Health Minister to pass the Bill in Parliament in this winter session itself (The Bill prepared by Health Ministry, is in an Advanced Stage. It is presently with the Law Ministry and soon will be tabled in Parliament). Once, this overarching Body comes into existence, medical education will be freed from the shackles of MCI, DCI, NBE and other corrupt coucils, since, they will be removed immediately.
And the fallout will be the following advantages: 1. Creation of thousands of new post graduate courses and centres, in the form of more MD/MS/M.Ch/DM/National Board Degrees (under the Direct Control of NCHRH). 2. Opportunity to do post graduation in a subject and centre of our choice as there will be almost an equal no. of PG Seats as there are UG seats with subsequent reduction in the tuition fees. 3. No more frustration of no. of attempts at Entrance examinations, because everyone is assured of PG seat either in Medical Colleges or in NCHRH Accredited Hospitals. 4. Common optional all India Exit exams which will help us to be eligible for appointment to academic institutions as Faculty irrespective of whether you are MD/MS/DM/M.Ch or National Board degree holder. No Discrimination whatsoever. 5. No discrimination in Practice. 6. Enormous Job opportunities and flexible options. 7. For those who fail to clear exams, opportunity to pass exams not two times but four times in a year.
Even we can make a change in Govt.Policy, if we want to. Act now or else be a silent sufferer as you were since, decades.
